Webster Bank is making a difference in the lives of Hartford HealthCare’s 30,000 employees. Their newly launched Frontline Heroes program offers essential healthcare workers a range of financial benefits to thank them for their service to the local community. Through this innovative program, frontline healthcare workers have access to checking accounts free of monthly maintenance fees, and free checking withdrawals at any ATM through December 2021. This program also allows new customers the ability to earn a cash incentive as well as discounts on lending and investment services. Frontline Heroes is designed to benefit any full or part-time employee currently working in essential healthcare. This includes hospitals, nursing homes, medical and dental practices, home healthcare and first responders. “We are pleased to be able to offer additional financial support to the heroes at Hartford HealthCare who have sacrificed so much of themselves in the fight against COVID-19,” said Nitin Mhatre, Webster Executive Vice President and Head of Community Banking.
Not only is Webster Bank providing healthcare workers with specialized financial benefits, the bank also plans to make a donation of $25,000 to support Hartford HealthCare employees on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. This donation will directly support the Hartford HealthCARES Colleague Assistance Fund which offers aid, both financial and otherwise, to Hartford HealthCare employees and their families. “Webster Bank’s generous donation to our Colleague Assistance Fund further allows us to help our colleagues when misfortune strikes.
