FirstBank, based in Lakewood, CO, sent employees undercover as technicians at seven animal hospitals to surprise more than 120 Colorado families by paying their veterinary bills. In return, FirstBank requested the families give it forward to a nonprofit for the 10th anniversary of Colorado Gives Day, a statewide online giving program of which FirstBank is the lead sponsor. The day benefits 2,600 nonprofits.
