Sauk Valley Bank, based in Sterling, IL, is known among its customers for great service but also for popcorn Fridays. What began as providing a fun, free treat every Friday at one branch has now spread to all bank locations. Many customers deliberately schedule their banking for Fridays. Many of the bank’s officers even take popcorn with them on Fridays on visits to local businesses.
