A Major Commitment to Keep a Community Reading

Harvest Bank in Minnesota made a major contribution to one very small community. Kimball, population 800, needed a new library, and with Harvest Bank’s $50,000 contribution—the largest single donation—the project took off. The city was able to leverage such early donations to qualify for state funds, and surpassed its $1 million goal. Ella Myerson, Harvest Bank’s AVP of marketing, says: “When there is an opportunity to invest in something like this, we know the community depends on us.”
