Regions Bank, based in Birmingham, AL, recently awarded $5,000 and provided 100 hours of volunteer services to a Jefferson County, AL nonprofit called Three Hots and a Cot, aimed at providing short-term housing and other support to veterans who are homeless or facing addiction or legal problems. The award was part of Region’s annual What a Difference a Day Makes program, where visitors to the company’s website, regions.doingmoretoday.com, learn about different nonprofits and what they do, and then vote for their favorite organization.
