Regions Bank surprised visitors to its Scott Air Force Base branch in Southern Illinois on a recent Saturday. What these mostly active-duty military families found waiting for them were stacks of children’s shoes, a welcome sight for parents told they could take home three boxes of sneakers per child. The event fittingly was named Heart and Sole. “Being part of this project that served so many of our Scott AFB families was really special for our team,” said Drew Conger, manager of the Scott branch.
