When Gary moved back to Ohio from Florida, he didn’t have anywhere to live—except his truck. An outreach team from the VA connected Gary to the HUD-VASH program, which provides rental assistance for homeless veterans. Gary soon secured an apartment where he began to rebuild his life. He went on to secure a VA home loan from Huntington Bank in Youngstown, OH, and his dream of owning a home became a reality.
