Denison State Bank in Kansas has made volunteerism a core value, which its employees and leaders model every day. The bank’s board members, officers and staff give their time by teaching personal finance education courses, leading tours of the bank to students, supporting economic development initiatives with the Chamber of Commerce and donating thousands of dollars to local schools. For these efforts and more, the bank was honored with a Community Leader Award from Federal Home Loan Bank Topeka.
